Additional Payment Terms
At the end of the day, TIY Travel's goal is to get more travellers out there exploring, and we want to make sure we can get you there, no matter your circumstances. Please reach out to TIY Travel to chat more regarding payment plans and trip options.
TIY travellers are looking for flexibility, we get it! TIY offers travellers two different payment options when booking a tour with TIY Travel. Travellers may choose to pay the entire trip cost at the time of booking or pay for the trip in installments.
A $250 deposit is already included in total trip costs. For both payment options, this deposit is non-refundable and is applied towards the costs of planning and organizing the trip itineraries.
After speaking with a TIY Travel Expert and selecting the tour and dates that work for you, you will receive a booking confirmation and an invoice. The invoice will reflect the payment plan you have selected. You will then be able to pay with debit/credit card or ACH payment. If you select the Pay in Installments option, invoices will be emailed to the email address provided, ahead of the due date. All Payments must be made in accordance with the Section 9. Payment Terms. TIY Travel understands plans can change and we still want to make sure we get you on the trip of your dreams. Therefore, TIY Travel will allow one Booking Modification free of charge, provided that such Booking Modification was requested at least 60 days prior to the start date of the Booking. All Booking Modifications after the initial one or within 60 days of the start date of the Booking shall be subject to a modification fee.
All cancellations must be in writing and emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Prior to 30 days before the start date of a Booking, Travellers can cancel a confirmed booking at any time pursuant to the Bookings cancellation policy set by the Travel Vendor, and TIY Travel will refund the amount of the Total Fees, excluding the $250 non-refundable deposit, due to the Traveller in accordance with the below refund schedule:
61 or more days before the start date of a Booking:
Deposit is non-refundable and a refund or Travel Credit is issued for the remaining amount that has been paid to TIY Travel.
60 – 31 days before the start date of a Booking:
Deposit and 50% of the trip cost are non-refundable. A refund or Travel Credit is issued for the remaining amount that has been paid to TIY Travel.
30 days or less before the start date of a Booking:
No refund or Travel Credit will be issued on any amounts that have already been paid to TIY Travel.
Where applicable, Travel Credits are provided to the traveller in lieu of a refund. Travel Credits are valid for 2 years after the date of issue to the traveller, and they can be used for any TIY Travel Service. To apply a Travel Credit, please reach out to TIY Travel, prior to making a new booking.
